For more than 24 years in the Manning Industry, MMS Maritime (Philippines), Inc. (MMSP), (formerly MMSPhil), has established a prominent reputation in
supplying qualified, professional and responsible officers and ratings on board various types of vessels
such as Bulk Carriers ( Panamax), Tankers (VLCC, MR, Aframax), Woodchip Carriers, and Pure Car Carriers.
Through the years, MMSP, catered its services to Ship Owners\/Managers based in Singapore, Japan,
Hong Kong and United Kingdom with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism.<\/p>

On 14 July 1997, ISOQAR of London approved the certification of the company’s & Quality Management
System and Operation of Ship Manning Agency under ISO 9002 and on 23 December 2003 the company’s
Quality System was certified under ISO 9001 2000 of the new standards.<\/p>

On 01 June 1999, MMSP, formally opened its In-House Training Center, the primary function of which is
to upgrade the capabilities of the seamen by introducing the principles of INTERNATIONAL SAFETY
MANAGEMENT (ISM), STCW’95, SOLAS, MARPOL 73\/78, Basic Computer Operation and familiarization of
Ship Owner’s SMS and Policies. It has been the desire of MMSP to provide Ship Owners and Ship
Managers with quality seamen through total approach on training. To ensure steady supply of qualified
Officers, both Deck and Engine Department, MMSP had embarked its Cadetship Training Program.<\/p>
